Ha! I knew it! Summer didn’t forget to drop by in the Netherlands this year… it just got a bit distracted along the way. But here she is, and boy, I really hope she stays here for a while. Not like last year when it lasted exactly 2 and a half days!
So as you would have figured out by now, today was pretty hot. And what better way to celebrate this than with a paddling pool for Alfie?! Yes, I know, most people would mention beer & BBQ, but just wait… you’re gonna love this. I got some floating toys the other day so I thought I would try them out today. As usual, Alfie found the improvised toys (i.e. the straws) way more interesting than the actual toys, but you know him, he’s a just bit weird sometimes…

Yesterday it was pretty ‘benauwd’! Did you happen to get any storm? We didn’t got anything! Only a few drops of rain, and that was it.
Weather’s been absolutely crazy lately: too hot, then too wet then stormy then hot again, not raining like crazy… What a “summer”!

They are! Alfie loves straws.
He certainly prefers the straws over the toys! Just like a baby which would rather play with the wrapping paper than the toy inside. Very cute.
