About

Kitten owner, learning about the joys of raising the purrfect cat. I don’t know much (yet) but I’m about to do so and share it all here. Join me in my journey.

  1. Thank you for visiting my Blog and leaving a comment. What a joy it is to see your cat pics …. they brings back memories of my own beautiful cats … but I would like to query something with you. Alfie looks like a Himalayan Colourpoint to me. They are very much like the Birman but Birman’s have white paws and colourpoints don’t.
I had a seal-point girl named Cara and a chocolate point boy named Sox. They were the most gorgeous cats and had such wonderful temperaments. Back then it was the days of the old film cameras so it’s not easy to produce them on my blog – I guess I ought to try and scan them though.

    • Your comment intrigued me 🙂 so I did a bit of extra research. I think he’s a mix, his face looks like a Birman, but indeed he isn’t a pure Birman, he doesn’t have white paws. I think Himalayan Colourpoints have their eyes and nose closer together than he does.

You should definitely scan those old pics, would be a pity to let time ruin them. Have a lovely weekend Eileen!

  2. You have awards A Purrfect Cat, should you choose to accept them. Please see my most recent blog post.

  3. I love your blog 🙂

Hey Oana, I had the joy of meeting Alfie on Wednesday evening. True to form for most cats, he chose to ignore me because he’s so gorgeous that I wanted to play with him. Fat chance! Gorgeous cat and v good to meet you all!

  5. Loooooooove Alfie!!!!!!! Definitely a purrfect cat! 🙂 🙂 🙂
P.S. I can’t even believe you know my Greek friend in person……….! 😀

    • I told Alfie and he purred loudly!
haha, yes, how small is this world?! it’s funny, isn’t it. John’s a good friend of mine. SO who knows maybe one day we’ll each other meet in person. 🙂

      • That would be great! I am sure John welcomes you in Greece, now you have another person here. You can stay at John’s house if you like, i ‘ll just take Alfie…! 😀

Hope you are well? I work for a pet product company and would love the opportunity to speak to you about some opportunities to work together. If you could please contact me at chloe.longfield@hattrickpr.co.uk That would be fantastic.

May I ask where you are based?

    Thanks

  10. I feed my cats dry food but at night as s treat! they share half a tin of wet food that they eat from the same plate. I have Whisky, an abandoned siamese – my luck but can you imagine that – and
Blighty, a black and white street cat.
I’ve been looking at the Schesir tins which I see you recommend and wondered about the ingredients. I can’t find that information anywhere in Google. Could you help me please? Your kitty is beautiful but having had a long haired cat, a moggy, I couldn’t do it again unless I was asked to adopt as in the cases of my two babies now.
To think I was once terrified of cats. And dogs. Thank goodness my parents brought cats and dogs into the home.
Any case thank you very much. Have a good weekend.
    Regards, Judy
